Entrepreneurship and Startup Association (ESA)

(At NYU Stern) - Helps MBA members gain access to NYC's entrepreneurial community and provides education,opportunities and resources to Stern MBAs.

Strategic Venture Society

Runs a gambit of programs related to tech and venture capital. Holds design and programming workshops as well venture pitch competitions.

Entrepreneurial Exchange Group (EEG)

Undergraduates interested in startups and building things. Newcomers and experienced entrepreneurs alike are encouraged to join the network. Weekly events are held with NYC startup founders.

Entrepreneurs Network

The NYU Entrepreneurs Network board provides marketing and funding support for entrepreneurship clubs on-campus and brings together the community for a few marquee events each year including the Entrepreneurs Festival.

Tech @ NYU

A community of Computer Science students, designers, and tech enthusiasts that organize frequent workshops on development, tech ethics, and career preparation.

Deep Tech Founders Circle

Invite-only monthly meet-up offering community and support for NYU startup founders pursuing ventures based on academic research or technological innovations across varied sectors including life sciences, physical sciences, and information technology.

Stern Venture Fellows

Supports Stern's high potential entrepreneurs in advancing their venture over a 10 week summer program.

Biomedical Entrepreneurship Program

Helps accelerate the commercialization of biomedical discoveries and inventions made at NYU. Developed by Technology Ventures and Partnerships in collaboration with the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute (http://entrepreneur.nyu.edu/) to bring in world-class educators and entrepreneurs to train faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and clinicians to become successful entrepreneurs.

Combine

Offers a lean startup accelerator for university startups, corporate intrapreneurship programs, and executive education. Its goal is to help entrepreneurs and innovative companies take advantage of NYC Media Lab's community and the City's thriving technology ecosystem.

Summer Launchpad (SLP)

9-week accelerator for teams of graduating NYU student entrepreneurs - provides  $10,000 in non-dilutive (zero equity) grant funding, $15,000 in vendor partnerships, and coaching.

Quake Capital Accelerator

12-week accelerator that provides hands-on training to improve participating companies' value props, distribution, sales, messaging, monetization and capitalization.

8 month challenge to develop a startup idea - up to  $100,000 in funding per winning team.

D-Prize Social Venture Competition

Competition to find scalable venture ideas and processes to alleviate poverty- up to $15,000 in seed funding.

InnoVention Competition

NYU entrepreneurs from across the globe build a team, prototype products, and pitch commercially viable ventures. Part accelerator and part competition, the challenge offers 12 student-led ventures workshops, coaching, community, perks, legal services and an opportunity to win up to $50,000.

Healthcare Makerthon

The NYU Healthcare Makerthon is an opportunity to solve impactful, unmet needs in healthcare. Teams of NYU students, faculty, researchers, and staff will compete to win over $10,000 in total prizes.

HackNYU

MLH annual Hackathon held in March - create projects across specified categories, previous categories include Sustainability, Financial Empowerment, Education, and Health.
